What the Instagram story viewer shows
Every story a public account posted in the last 24 hours, as photos and videos. Private accounts don't share their stories publicly, so no tool can show them.
Current stories
All stories the account posted in the last 24 hours, in the order they went up. Photos and videos are clearly marked.
Download in original quality
Videos save as MP4 and photos as JPG, at the highest resolution Instagram serves them. No watermark is added.
No Instagram account needed
You don't log in and your account is never used, so your name is not added to the viewers list and the account owner gets no notification.

Why use an Instagram story viewer?
When you open a story in the Instagram app, your username is added to the story's viewers list. For 24 hours the account owner can see who watched and in what order.
There is no way to remove your name from that list. Even if you opened the story by accident or were just curious, your name stays there.
A browser-based viewer avoids this completely. The story is not opened with your account, so nobody is added to the viewers list. The account owner sees exactly what they would see if you had never opened it.
Who uses an Instagram story viewer?
The largest group is people without an Instagram account. Someone sends them a profile link, but the app asks them to sign up before it shows a single story. Here, typing the username is enough.
People who work with social media use these tools too. They follow the public stories of competing brands without their company account showing up in the viewers list.
The rest are users who simply want to be careful. Anyone who is curious about a story, but doesn't want the other person to be notified, can watch it from the browser instead.

FAQ
Will the account owner see that I watched?
No. Stories are not opened with your account and you don't log in to Instagram, so you don't appear in the viewers list.
Can I view stories from private accounts?
No. Only stories from public accounts can be shown. Private accounts are not supported.
Do I need an Instagram account?
No. You don't need to sign up or log in. Just type the username.
How do I download a story?
Tap the Download button under the story. On iPhone the file goes to the Downloads folder, and you can add it to Photos from there.
Why does it say no stories found?
Stories disappear after 24 hours. If the account didn't post a story in the last 24 hours, there's nothing to show.
Do you store stories?
No. We don't keep stories on our servers. Results are cached for a few minutes, then deleted.
